DogDharma Receives “Beautiful Blogger Award” !!!

Beautiful Blogger Award

Okay, I am stunned!!!  No, shocked!!  No, delighted!!  No, squirming in my chair!!!  Every word I write is like dripping blood.  And to have that acknowledged and recognized!!  I was given this award by Phoenix – the Rebirth of Life.  See here.  Phoenix describes herself thusly:

Just an ordinary young woman who suffers from mental illness who wants to rule the world one day; erasing one stigma at a time.

Check her out!!  Phoenix says her goals are to:

Raise mental illness awareness. Stop the stigma. Save a life.

Amen, sister!

Now, I understand my responsibilities are as follows:

  • Thank the person who nominated you for the award! A warm, hearty, & standing ovation thank you to Writer X for recognizing how “beautiful” my blog is!
  • Add The Beautiful Blogger Award logo to your post and blog.
  • Nominate 7 beautiful bloggers and say a little something about why you love their blog.
  • Notify the nominees by commenting on their blog

Well, I’m new at blogging, and i never expected my writing to catch on as fast as it has.  I have rambled and repeated a lot.  And I’m not too swift on WordPress.  So I will have to give this some careful thought, and work on it over the next few days.  But work on it, I will.  Stay tuned — might need some guidance from Phoenix.

In the mean time, I will re-quote my all-time favorite poem by Emily Dickinson:

IF I can stop one heart from breaking,

I shall not live in vain;

If I can ease one life the aching

Or cool one pain,

Or help one fainting robin

Unto his nest again,

I shall not live in vain.

I would not be alive to write these words if not for my little dog, Otis.  You can read about her in these posts:

Thank you, Phoenix!!!  ❤

About DogDharma

Dog Dharma is written by a human who loves dogs and who believes dogs have attained enlightenment. The human behind Dog Dharma came from humble origins, has faced many trials, enjoyed many adventures, and taken a path less traveled. He claims no special privilege or expertise, and remains humble. Dog Dharma‘s author has learned a few things along the way, and has much yet to learn. He has been told by many people that he has a talent for writing, and aspires to write a book, but is a little too lazy and disorganized, so his blog will suffice for now. He opens a window into his life in the hope that some of his words may be of comfort, some may be a beacon or warning, and perhaps he will connect with like-minded souls. Everything shared comes from a place of openness and honesty, but with no claim that he possesses the Truth. People and places mentioned should be taken as pseudonyms. In many cases, details may be an amalgamation of actual events disguised to protect the “innocent.” Nothing written is to be taken as actual fact, but as the author of Dharma Dog‘s limited understanding.
